Pearlescent Skulls
‘Skulls of Luci’ Collection and its Council see a rare sale of ‘Pearlescent’ by Sam Spratt for 70 ETH ($254,401) from Harry G Ward to GPunk. The last Skull sale took place in December, 2023 for 55 ETH.

“Harry was the very first bid on one of my genesis pieces: ‘Lullabies for Isaac’. Each bidder, in his case: a .05 eth bid out of the gate, a gas fee, and patience, was returned in kind with a Skull of Luci—a thank you for paying attention and throwing a little energy my way as I took the leap into this space back in October 2021.
Harry is a young and talented artist who had become familiar with my work back before Luci when I was making album covers — for him to have held it for two and a half years through the bear market means a tremendous amount to me.
I had the pleasure of spending some time with George Bowring at NFT Paris and the kindness everyone whispers behind his back was true: he is an incredible human being, as well as an early and amazing collector of generative art. To bring him into The Council is a beautiful and well-timed addition — for what he has passed forward through Harry: a gift, and I look forward to having him on board for the next chapter and beyond.”

Closing Thoughts
While top end collection volume, namely Ordinals, take a step back from a furious surge, diverse activity remains present and 1/1 and small batch 1/1/X take a step forward. My eyes are on three types of activity: continued high-end consensus grail sales, calculated sweeps of lagging collections, and 1/1 art selections.
