Nakamoto Card September Sale

‘RAREPEPE | Series 1 Card 1’ /298 by Mike - aka the ‘Nakamoto Card’ - sells for 30 ETH (~$73,500) to Dobharchu. After an incredibly active July into August, the first of the ‘Rare Pepes’ collection sees its first sale this month.

Flamingo Rabble

‘Rabble 20’ (Async Art) by XCOPY sells for 17.5 WETH (~$44,500) from Freecard_Collection to Flamingo DAO.

In ETH terms, Rabble sales have trended up from 13.57 WETH to 15.65 ETH to this sale of 17.5 WETH over the past 2.5 weeks. ‘Rabble 3’ is now the lowest Rabble listed at 22 ETH.

Closing Thoughts

While the Sotheby’s auction saw very little hype, it concludes with a solid, down the middle result. There are a few 1/1 artworks that arguably went for solid deals, but the big ticket items are on par with expectations.

When I put my opinionated hat on, Rabbles are possibly my favorite *accessible* XCOPY (that term is relative, of course). They’ve received renewed attention.

ADHD with strong 1/1 sales on SOL. He has really been leading an art charge there. It’s nice to see Osinachi open with Tribul to a met reserve. Attractive Squiggle on secondary. Strong Cal, the artist work goes to Artifaction, who seemingly went on a mini art binge during an aggressive sauna session.
