The collection was originally minted in April, 2021 before captivating collectors and selling out in July, 2021.

Via Cartagena:
”Carpoolers… was inspired in part by my grandfather. A construction worker in México, he traveled this way for many years. These photographs were taken from an overpass and depict the many laborers who carpool between the distant suburbs and urban centers for work.”

Closing Thoughts

Volume remains muted across art, although the individual sales are diverse and interesting.

We have seen a steady stream of secondary 1/1 Foundation auctions, with all Carpoolers closing and one more Roope Rainisto on deck. It was a nice moment for Carpoolers with five separate collectors acquiring the artworks.
