Floodgates Open
‘Open The Floodgates’ by Joe Pease sells for 34.055 ETH (~$113k USD) to Cozomo de’ Medici from osprey.bidder. The deal is arranged by KDean and RDToTheMoon.
Originally minted June 29, 2022 via SuperRare, the 1/1 artwork first sold in auction on July 9, 2022 for 50 ETH (~$61k USD).

Closing Thoughts
Joe Pease sales have a way of sending shockwaves through the digital art landscape. That’s due to many things: namely, appeal of the art itself and the infrequency of release.
To be treated to a secondary sale in such close proximity to his latest primary sale - ‘Smoke Break’ - is a surprise. There are two ways to look at it. In context of original sale two years ago, it is nearly 2x in USD valuation (my opinion is USD is closer to the right way to look at price). In context of recent primary sale, it is ~$80k shy of that USD valuation.
All things considered, this feels like one of the best Cozomo de’ Medici acquisitions (and there have been many!)
