Closing Thoughts
An encouraging day of art!
I gave a version of this speech recently regarding 1/1/X and editions, and I can give it again now regarding Ordinals. It is the *artist* that ultimately leads. If/when an artist puts forth something that is too good to be ignored, the where and how will fall in line for collectors. Editions declared dead in favor of 1/1/X? It only takes an XCOPY to turn that upside down for a time. Ordinals declared dead (again)? It only takes a Harvey Rayner collection to see more volume than we have in some time.
The above does not invalidate a chain thesis. You may have your ETH, Ordinal, SOL, or other pros/cons, and they may be accurate. It does suggest that when an artist puts forth great art, it is likely to be relevant regardless.
