With its origins in 19th century exploration, Romanticism captured humanity’s awe before the vastness and greatness of nature, similar to our 21st century explorations into the digital frontier. As in the allegorical landscape of Caspar David Freidrich, the traveler is as humbled as we were standing in Beeple Studios.”
The next 5 are acquired by a single wallet, with previous activity of 3 CryptoPunks and 1 Ringer facilitated by Fountain.
Finally, it is the April 25th collector of Alien CryptoPunk #635 now acquiring Beeple’s homage artwork originally created on the same day.

Jack Butcher releases 24 hour charity open edition with Gamma, raises $186,590 for St. Jude. The artwork, entitled ‘1 of 1 of ?’, is minted 35,262 times.
Via Butcher:
”Thank you to Gamma for hosting, and for everyone who got involved collecting and sharing, a truly phenomenal result that will do a lot of very real good in the world.”
The charity artwork precedes today’s Sotheby’s ‘1 of 1’ auction, accompanied by a ‘Proof of work’ physical artwork “that will incorporate hand drawn signatures in the exact quantity of open editions minted”.
Floored Fidenzas
‘Fidenza’ /999 by Tyler Hobbs sees two sales for 24.23 & 24 WETH as a wallet exits several Art Blocks and an Azuki.
In ETH terms, the lowest Fidenza sale of 2024 was 31 ETH on April 17, 2024. It is much closer in USD, with the April sale at ~$92,504 versus ~$89,688.

Closing Thoughts
It is not every day (puns) that we see 7 Beeple artworks change hands. It has me reminiscing about the December, 2020 Nifty Gateway release, during which 21 1/1 Everydays were auctioned.
When you think about it, Everydays present quite a supply and demand challenge. What do you create and solely share? What do you create, share, and subsequently mint? Beeple theoretically *could* mint tens/hundreds, do it in dramatic fashion, and orchestrate an all-time release. On the other end of the spectrum, he could mint a handful a year, or mint none and do a massive year-end edition release of a collage. Each of these decisions would have advocates and detractors and come with consequences. When you are on top of the digital art world, there is endless opportunity and at the same time, few easy decisions.
