‘Tribes of the Calf’ - one of the 1/1/50 ‘Skulls of Luci’ by Sam Spratt - sells to Kanbas for 85 WETH (~$267k USD), marking an all-time high in USD.

“Grateful to have such a curious explorer sift through the layers of Luci in and out of the image over the last few months. Kanbas’ deep research, like most people I know, began with ‘monkey painting’ and eventually led to him sitting in front of The Monument Game here in Venice for hours as I watched him lovingly watch his wife get lost in it with him.”
An additional story unfolds in the background, as Han experiences a full circle moment. After initially receiving Skull ‘Unum’ in March 2022 as a gift for bidding on a Sam Spratt genesis artwork, he later sold it for 8 WETH in April 2022. After dramatically returning in March 2024 by collecting ‘Tribes of the Calf’ for 65 ETH (~$259k USD), he then traded Tribes for his original Skull prior to Tribes being sent to Kanbas.
