Candlelight Trade
‘Candlelight’ by Verdandi moves via trade from Pedsky to TomiDev. The deal is “valued around 7.1 ETH” and includes 4.1 WETH plus 4 Rare Pepes.
The 1/1 artwork is one of thirteen ‘Verdandi Artefacts’, tokenized to Ethereum in 2017 and wrapped in an updated ERC-721 contract.
Via Verdandi:
“For years between 2015-17, all I dreamed of was making digital art something that could be ownable and collectible in a special 1/1 format. What eventually came to be known as NFTs. In a special way, I have always viewed art as a message to be carried across time, held by one individual until it finds another to carry it forward.
I love the quote by Michael Spalter ‘A collector is a temporary steward of art as we don’t own art in a permanent or absolute sense, but rather hold it in trust for future generations.’
