Collected Chaos
‘CHAOS’ by Urs Fischer sees 10 sales for 4.67 ETH and 46.7 ETH total from the artist to a single collector via MakersPlace.
The collection of 500 unique digital sculptures and 1 all-encompassing accumulation began its rollout in April of 2021. The sculptures depict ordinary 3D scanned objects in constant motion and convergence, fusing the real and the virtual.
SuperRare Skygolpe
Skygolpe sees rare 1/1 secondary movement as ‘Isolation’ sells for 11.33 ETH from rudyavault to an anonymous collector. The artwork was originally minted via SuperRare in April, 2021, selling for 11 ETH.

Closing Thoughts
Short-term speculative volume has largely departed the everyday art market, and in its place are selective acquisitions. The top two headlines are perfect examples. A single collector makes a big Urs Fischer statement in a not-often-seen but highly regarded collection (CHAOS), and another acquires a secondary market Skygolpe for double digit ETH soon after the artist’s physical sale at Christie’s (that was for $129k USD).
We’re firmly in range of summer-time, which means the above is likely to continue for a bit. There’s only one way to find out. Onward!
