Closing Thoughts
The top 3 headlines show a diversity of art examples: traditional auction house, high volume low cost (platform fee only) mint, and mixed medium ranked auction. While the overall digital art market remains slow, it’s useful to evaluate what makes each of them tick.
Several of the 1/1 artwork sales via RARE token have come via an inaugural RARE Collection event. SuperRare teamed with collector Batsoupyum, allowing him to curate acquisitions that were then collected with SR’s token and vaulted. This feels like a big win-win-win for all involved, and it’s a credit to SR for launching the concept!
