No Hurt Feelings
There was an artwork loan, there was an artwork loan default, and ultimately there is a happy ending.
SpartanBlack collects Hurt Feelings by FEWOCiOUS for 25 ETH from Cirrus. The 1/1 artwork is FEWO’s 11th mint, created in September, 2020 via SuperRare.

Closing Thoughts
Few circumstances showcase the illiquid 1/1 art market better than today’s FEWO 1/1 case study. In a short timespan, you have (1) a loan defaulter unwilling to recover the artwork, (2) a lender in the middle, (3) a collector willing to pay more, and also (4) another major collector who felt fair value was actually far higher. Forget the names involved. The chain of events is worth reflection because it won’t be the only time it occurs. How do sometimes unseen mechanisms like the lending market create unique circumstances? How are buyers and sellers best brought together?
General Thought: A day that would have seemed massive months ago for many reasons feels a little ho-hum today. Art has picked up!
